Our company's history is closely tied to Peter Schultz. His father Wilhelm was a captain, his mother Maureen a lawyer specialising in maritime law — the sea was present in the family from the very start.
Peter Schultz began his career as a sailor in 1980. In 1983 he lost his father when the "RENATE S" was lost in the English Channel — a defining moment that only deepened his connection to the sea.
He trained as a ship mechanic, earned his master's certificate in 1988, and served as captain for various shipping companies from 1991 onwards. In 1995 he moved into management, and in 2000 he founded his own shipping company and bought his first vessel.
The company made a name for itself in the used-vessel segment and grew steadily without external capital. Today, Peter and Manuela Schultz operate the "MAUREEN S" (3,353 t deadweight).

The vessel also carries containers, giving customers maximum flexibility for a wide range of cargo.
